CTP physio in Seaforth
Hurt in a car accident or any other motor vehicle crash? Our physios and exercise physiologists treat CTP claims. We'll get you moving again and send your treatment requests to the insurer for you.
CTP is NSW's Compulsory Third Party (green slip) scheme. Treatment is charged at scheme rates and you don't need a GP referral to book.
Been in a motor accident? Do these first.
- See your GP and get a certificate of fitness.
- Report the crash to police.
- Lodge your claim within 28 days if you want weekly payments backdated to the day of the crash.
- You've got 3 months at most to lodge (that's the general outer limit).
- Book in with us. You don't need a claim number.
See the official steps on the SIRA website, or call CTP Assist on 1300 656 919.

How CTP works for treatment
In NSW, CTP can pay for your treatment if you're hurt in a motor accident. In most cases you can claim whoever was at fault.
Drivers, passengers, cyclists, pedestrians and motorbike riders can all apply. Medicare doesn't cover motor accident treatment, so it pays to start early.
“These guys are awesome. Looked after me, my wife and two sports mad boys.”
David B., Google reviewBeen like this since the accident?
- Stiff neck and sore shoulders
- Back pain that wasn't there before
- Headaches out of nowhere
- Not sure what exercise is safe
- Claim forms and time limits that don't make sense
- Not sure who to call first
How it works
Assess, Analyse, Activate
Our three step method, so you always know what's going on and what's next.
Assess
Your first appointment is 45 minutes to an hour. Tell us what happened, what hurts and what you want to get back to. Bring your claim number and insurer details if you have them.
Analyse
We work out what's actually causing the problem, not just where it hurts.
Activate
You leave with a plan: hands on treatment, exercises and clear advice. We send the treatment requests to your insurer for you.

“I couldn't be happier with the service. Ruby and Michael were exceptional, getting me back up cycling and running after a chronic patella issue. The curve ball of the injured hammie midway through recovery was handled without issue. Thanks guys.”

CTP questions
Still not sure? Call us on (02) 9907 9667 and we'll point you in the right direction.
Do I need a claim number before I book?
No. Book first and sort the claim alongside it. Bring your claim number and insurer details if you've got them. If you haven't, tell us when you come in and we'll point you to the right people.
Who pays for CTP physio and exercise physiology?
The CTP insurer pays for approved treatment at scheme rates. If anything won't be covered, we'll tell you before your first appointment.
Does it matter who caused the accident?
Not for booking with us. In most cases you can apply for CTP benefits whoever was at fault, though the type and length of support can differ. Your insurer or CTP Assist can tell you where you stand.
How long do I have to lodge a CTP claim?
28 days from the accident if you want weekly payments backdated to the crash. The general outer limit is 3 months. Don't wait for the pain to settle.
Can passengers, cyclists, pedestrians and motorbike riders claim?
Yes. Drivers, passengers, cyclists, pedestrians and motorbike riders can all apply if they were injured in a motor accident in NSW.
Do I need physio or exercise physiology after a motor accident?
Often both, at different times. Physio looks at your injury and treats the pain and movement problems early on. Exercise physiology builds your strength, fitness and confidence with a supervised program once you're ready. We plan it together and ask your insurer to approve the treatment you need.
Does Medicare or my health fund cover it?
Medicare doesn't cover motor accident treatment. The CTP insurer is billed instead. If your claim isn't accepted or has ended, talk to us about your options, including private health cover.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on your injury and how you respond. After your first assessment we'll give you a plan and ask your insurer to approve the treatment you need.
