Type 2 Diabetes Exercise Program Active Answers Health is offering small group exercise classes, rebated through Medicare, for individuals with type 2 diabetes.Sessions are designed and run by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist who is trained to understand your conditions, and provide safe, effective, and quality care specific to you.The benefits of this program include improved metabolic control, decrease in blood sugar levels, decrease in body fat, and enhanced strength, cardiovascular health, balance, bone health, mental health, and improved quality of life. Additionally, client education throughout our sessions will aid understanding of your body, diabetes, exercise, food consumption, and health science.What's involved in the program:Initial Assessment (45mins) 8 x 60 min Group ClassDiabetes EducationWhat do I need to wear/bring to my first session?Active wear, drink bottle, towel, yourself and your referral form filled out by your GP.
