Do you have parking?

There is plenty of free street parking right outside the door on both Kirkwood and Burnt Street. 

Is there disability access?

Yes, there is a disability ramp available at the entrance.
We have one small step at the entrance, however if you let the reception know prior or when you arrive we can pop the ramp down for you. 

How long are the appointments?

Depends on the injury and the appointment type. For your first physiotherapy appointment we allow 45 minutes to 1 hour, which allows us plenty of time to get to know you and your injury and go through a thorough assessment. Subsequent appointments are 30 minutes long. 

No you do not need a referral from your GP or surgeon.  However, if you have one bring it along so we can contact the Doctor following our initial assessment.

Any X-rays, scans or other test results

Any Doctors notes or referrals if you may have one

Your private health fund card if you are with a fund

Appropriate clothing so we can assess the injured area (eg shorts for knee and hip pain)

Yes! We do on the spot health fund claiming, so remember to bring your card with you.

We accept most/all private health funds.

If you have been provided an EPC (Enhanced Primary Care) from your Doctor then you are entitled to receive up to 5 sessions that medicare will cover the majority of the cost. There will be a small out of pocket expense 

Make sure that you bring your referral form with you to the first session

Yes we treat Workers Compensation patients.

If you have a work related injury, our physiotherapists can assess and treat you under an approved Workers Compensation claim. Please bring your claim number and insurer or case manager details if you have them. If not, our team can help guide you through the process at your appointment.
